A study from The Frozen Food Foundation and the University of Georgia found that the nutritional value of frozen fruits and vegetables is often greater than their fresh counterpart. That’s because fresh produce loses nutrition as it’s picked early, ripens while being transported, and sits on shelves before being eaten.
